The pilot project of the Engineering center of railway transport is a project to develop a high-speed train to connect large Russian cities. As part of the Program of measures for cooperation between JSC «Russian Railways», JSC «Sinara Group», JSC «Rusnano» in the field of development of a hydrogen-fueled transport system, pre-project work is being carried out in the Engineering Center to create traction rolling stock using hydrogen as fuel. To solve the problem of increasing the resource and reducing the maintenance time of railway lines, a project has been formed to develop structures and technologies for the maintenance of a railway track, ensuring the production of 2.5 billion gross tons of missed tonnage.
The purpose of creating the engineering center is to consolidate existing and acquire new competencies in the design and production of innovative railway rolling stock and infrastructure facilities in Russia. A pilot project for the Center was determined for the development and production of high-speed rolling stock in the Russian Federation with a speed up to 400 km/h
The agreement was signed in order to establish mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of engineering and consulting services.
