A new infrastructure development track opened; catenary and permanent-way programmes commenced.

A new innovative rolling-stock development track opened. Hydrogen and hybrid locomotive programmes launched.
ECRT trials at the VNIIZHT Experimental Ring
Endurance trials began on ECRT-developed permanent-way engineered for an accumulated gross tonnage of 2.5 billion tonnes, on the VNIIZHT Experimental Ring.
High-speed train basic design completed
Core technical solutions were developed for Russia’s first domestic high-speed electric train.

Field trials began on ECRT-developed permanent-way engineered for an accumulated gross tonnage of 2.5 billion tonnes — on a section of the Krasnoyarsk Railway, an RZD branch.
Detail design completed and high-speed train production started
